As some of you may have guessed, Cliff Button, our Supreme Commander here at PTA has been MIA. It is surmised that he has been shot down over enemy territory while on a scouting mission.
While he has sent out a few communications, these have been brief and have not provided any insight into his situation. This appears to be an indication that he fears his transmissions are being monitored by enemy forces seeking to capture him.
Rest assured, a S.A.R. (Search and Rescue) mission is underway to locate and recover our fearless leader. We hope that soon he will be back among "friendlies". Stay tuned for updates.

Regarding my first post; this was an attempt at a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor since Cliff hasn't been posting or answering emails.
Cliff is actually fine. He's just been extremely busy with some work projects.
Sorry if I alarmed anyone. =(

Actually, I assumed something more sinister - maybe, since you seem to be 2IC, you snuck into his command shelter, slipped some absinthe into his evening cup of hot chocolate, and then, when he ran off into the forest, stark naked, shouting about winged green elephants dancing around him, you took control...
OK, I'll go back to the padded-room now...

Hi there. I was looking at your forum and didn't see a whole lot of recent action. I have some questions. I sent an e-mail asking most of these questions. Perhaps you would be kind enough as to answer some questions I have about your PT II rules and products. On page 8 of the rules, it mentions that some advanced rules units have advantages and disadvantages and that such would modify their VP values. I did not see any more references as to how the VP values are modified. Does an advantage add 1 to VP values and disadvantages subtract 1 (with a minimum value of 1 of course) or were you envisioning a different calculation? Your rules also say that when a unit enters rough terrain like woods, town, etc. it must stop but I did not see any reference as to how far it could move on the next action/turn. What if you are playing a scenario with a large wooded area (such as the Ardennes or a large built up area such as Stalingrad) and you have a wooded/town area say 3 feet wide and 2 feet deep with a road cutting through it? Obviously any units that stay on the road would not be slowed down but infantry are not bound to the road and could move through the woods or into buildings. How far could they move? Do they lose a 1d6 for example (after all running through the woods is not as easy/fast as running through tall grass)? What about vehicles? If they leave the road, what kind of movement penalty do they get for moving through the woods? Your LOS rules say that woods block LOS for targets behind the woods but not for units that are in the woods. Again, what would be the LOS rules in a large, heavily wooded area like we saw at the Battle of the Bulge? I also saw on your main web page that you had some CD bundles that could be purchased instead of just downloading your product (which look very good I must say.). Have you put together a CD package for the Germans, Yanks, and/or Brits? How about a CD package for a specific theater of war that would have models for both sides (like North Africa for example)? BTW. Is 1/72nd the same as 28mm? Thanks for your kind and quick attention to this message. I hope to purchase some of your product in the near future.
