Okay, guys. Just curious. I find my time gets more and more limited with work, house chores, needy felines, you name it. My Pz IVh models have been waiting for months for their final touches. My 251D halftracks languish on my modeling table waiting for their tracks, wheels, and fenders. What's a poor Pouncing Tiger to do? One of my tricks is to try to cut or glue one piece of paper. Any part will do. Just cut or glue some part of the model each night if you can. It hasn't been working lately, so I need some ideas/encouragement. Do any of you have some tricks for making time to build your models? A set time each week/evening, perhaps? Catch as catch can? An inspirational war movie? Some inspirational pics for you... My mod of Cliff's T-34. I did the ChTZ turret with box fuel tanks: My T-34/85 Turret on Cliff's hull: Moonlight helps me work on my T-34s: Hopefully, Cliff will post my mods to his T-34 kits to the site sometime in the near future. He's working on the hard part — the written instructions...

one piece per night is a great idea, one that i am unable to implement with school being so much more important. because of that i take long stretches away from modeling and have recently gotten back into it. i find that i have to be in the right mood to papercraft. since it requires so much patience, a bit of tv before starting is helpful haha

In our previous house, I had a "15 minutes a day" where I did a bit of modelling. Unfortunately, our new place is half the size, so there is no where to leave the stuff out - so you spend 7½ minutes getting the stuff out, then 7½ minutes putting it away... At the moment, the more complex models, like the paper tigers, are on hold, but I knocked up some simple 1/300-ish scale "generic" tanks for some small games. (The red and blue big tank was painted by my youngest son, as was the yellowy-green one without a barrel) Made from cöcktail sticks and scrap card of various thickness (from cereal packets, backs of writing paper and so on) I've also been working on my Satan's Kittens website - that is something I can do in five-minute bursts.

Kill the board censor!!! It changes "cöcktail" stick (without the umlaut), like what you stick little cherries on and stuff, to thingytail...

Thank you.... I added one of those photos to our "PTA in Action" page at the site. www.papertigerarmaments.com/PTAinaction.htmlWe have been catching up on projects too. Some things long overdue. One of the more grueling tasks here are the figure flats. We are backed up on those, but I have been forcing myself to do at least one figure a day before starting other tasks.
